My confirmation email was from PayPal showing payment confirmation to CLCC for the event.Got my ticket last night at 8. Gotta see what all the hub bub is about. Didn't get a confirmation email though.

I informed my wife that I need to do some "projects" on the 80 before FC....her reaction was somewhat of a WTF moment and asked what I need to do now. I started to explain in detail, and she said never mind...
Not much really, just need to install my under drive gears in the transfer case and get my trailer inspected. I'm planning on pulling the TCase to do this so I can do a new rear seal in the trans too as it has a slight leak.
I'm not married so my project proposal usually goes.. "Self, I think we should buy this for the 80" and then I say, "that's a great idea, Self!!"FC spot reserved, and I too am drawing up the final list of "projects" to do before FC, Eric.AND I got the same response, lol.

it's a huge event! We have 40s, 60s, lately a couple of 70s have shown up, 80s, 100s, 200s, plenty of Lexus equivalents, some stray 4runners, Tacomas, and other Toyota 4x4s that come to the event. There are a ton of trails that range from easy to extreme. If you like wheeling, you will not be disappointed. *The cost from The Cove for riders and nondrivers can be prohibitive—most people don't bring the whole family.Looking to do this event in 2025 or 2026, Coming up from FL this looks like a great time. How big of an event is it? Range of vehicles and trails?
I am used to the Disney like fee structure at Windrock, and I saw the daily rate + camping and it isn't unheard of. The video's I've seen through the woods look absolutely gorgeous. We have a couple toys and have been doing GSMTR for the last 5 years in early summer.it's a huge event!
