You guys kill me with the rake posts. The LC rake angle looks completely different based on whether its from the front or the back angle wise, and whether the truck has running boards. The Heritage looks like it has a huge rake largely bc it does not have running boards.

Here is my old 16. Pic from this angle looks like no rake, almost lower back than front.

same truck from different angle. Now appears to have huge rake.

I’m sure in a few years I’ll appreciate the black headliner since it won’t show dirty finger prints and such. But right now the interior feels too dark even with Terra seats.

I dont drive the heritage, my wife does. But why are there handles where the 3rd row seat used to be? has anyone looked at the headliner in that area. Funny.

The cargo cover she says its hard to reach while open. But she likes her new baby

That is interesting.. I’d bet they are there to help hold the headliner up in that span over the 3rd row windows.

Does it have the hump at the hatch opening where the third row center passenger shoulder belt normally goes?

I’m guessing it’s still there because they figured the cost to leave was cheaper then redesigning that area. Almost guaranteed that’s the real reason.

Also if you kidnapped someone and chained their legs to the floor tie downs it would give them something to hold on to.

Thanks for the offer, but I'll just call an Uber.

Hey guys, there was a lot of talk a while back about the cons of the Heritage Edition having an MSRP more than the regular model, but with less content.

Looking at the market these days, either of them can be found in the low $78k range without any negotiation. Does the Heritage offer a more compelling package when it no long carries a price premium?

I do like the rims, and the fancy logos...still a big step up over buying used though:(

Personally, i love the HE rims! Logos are OK...unlike seemingly everyone else on here, i don’t mind the stock chrome. But, those bronze rims just tickle me in the right places...i almost got them a while back when Eric had them in stock...but i had to prioritize getting ARB sliders first.

One day...i will get those HE rims....

If you can get them at the same price and don't need the extra seating it's a no brainer! Those 3rd row seats in mine will probably never get used and only take up space. It has better wheels (lighter and forged) I bought a set of the same wheels for the Tundra TRD Pro and I can really feel the difference. The basket on top is Meh....much better stuff out there.

Same price? I'd do it in a heart beat.

It'd be a more exclusive model of a very exclusive vehicle (If that appeals to you)

I'd be yanking the 3rd row of seats out for sure (though it leaves me wondering if the HE lacking third seats would still be able to handle things like ARB drawers...would it be missing some critical mounting points?)

About those gorgeous HE rims..are they comparable in overlanding practicality to the other offerings in the aftermarket? I see plenty of builds with rims 'upgraded'. Is that purely cosmetic, or does it make the vehicle more robust?
