I think the word ‘sleeps’ implies intent. And I think his intent mighta been to sleep in a tent.

Went to the barn Sunday and Hurricane Florence overflowed the creek and left debris scattered all around but mainly on the driveway side of the barn. I believe the creek was flowing through the middle of the barn. I will have the mower in soon but may need help with the debris removal. Pics don’t really show what needs removed but nothing the old blue ford truck and a pitchfork can’t fix. We also cut up a couple trees that had fallen but we didn’t haul any trees out to cut up. I will post if we do haul logs but wood cutting may have to wait for the Meet and Greet. We still have a good pile from the clubs effort at the M&G or the last Christmas party. I also took 2 soccer chairs that were left at Logan’s Run if any one is missing them. Unlike Logan’s Run, I will not be cold camping this time! Stoves and fire ring will be working overtime...@Angerhater

I should be there Friday, no chainsaw but I’m down for manual labor. Johnny may join Saturday night depending on work.

I should have explained the above statement (I kind of forgot that not everybody can read my mind)! Thanks to all who have reached out about it or even just questioned it silently.
I am perfectly fine. Sarah is, too. My father in Virginia is not. I've spent most of the last month up there and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 stomach cancer at the end of October. Chemo starts next week. He is otherwise extremely healthy. He's in good spirits, has a positive attitude and says the only way he's gonna go out is doing the Army Ranger Q-Course when he's older (81 now)! ......but not the one they let the women do! Many of you will know what that means.
I will not post anything else related to this in this thread. Please don't clog up the thread with questions or statements about it. PM me or call/text/email me and I'll tell you whatever I know or listen to whatever you have to say. Thanks in advance. I know that many of us consider ourselves family and like to voice concern or pep talks or whatever but this is a thread about the PARTY OF THE YEAR!
Let's keep it that way. I'll see you at the Barn if it's at all possible.Now, back to the PARTY talk!
