is this like a pre-disability claim research question?
No . I have several friends that are pro loggers whom I help once in a while and was going to bring my ms390 but if you have to wear all that crap just for cutting firewood I'm out . Question the wearing of helmets for felling trees also . Not having a helmet on saved my life once .

I understand where you are coming from and I'm sure there are lots of stories like that. Stacy's dad has to deal with a broken back because of a wood cutting injury. I've spent countless hours cutting with Samaritan's Purse on disaster relief missions and with that said I wear the helmet because it has built in ear protection and a face shield, both of which are very important to me. Last thing I want is to take a chip in the face or have a saw buck up. We are not real close to anything and a trip to the hospital is not worth it for me personally. If anyone wants to cut and not wear PPE on their own time that's their option, but when we are on someone else's land cutting for them, I don't think we are asking too much to act on the side of caution. I hope everyone can understand and appreciate where we stand on this.

Safety is priority.. I don't want to see anyone going to the hospital ....

Love it. No matter what the scenario, there's always someone who advocates for NOT having the proper safety equipment/gear.

If you don't want to wear a helmet or chaps, then you can watch the guys who do. End of story.

Daniel and I will be there, not sure when.. quite honestly I don't have any clue, work is crazy this month. But we will be there haha

Adam's got a stack of singles at the ready..... ;)

So wouldn't it be frowned upon showing up at like 1am Saturday morning?

I'm thinking about driving straight there after work.

Shouldn't be an issue. As long as your not aiming a led light bar at someone's tent while your setting up. Lol. And those still awake will most likely help you bust it out.

Just be warned that a shuttle landing bank of LED's will not be tolerated at that hour. But, yeah, at a minimum, @angerhater will be up and stoking the fire. And some drunks. Those bastards are always up. :hillbilly:

Turn your headlights off (leave running lights on) and we'll guide you into a camping spot :D

Perfect hoping that I can manage to get off work alittle early and get there at a semi reasonable hour.

Hope for that no work available! Lol

Not sure if I have said this yet, but we will be there Friday after work.

Get to change my arrival time again taking Friday off to catch on some school work bonus now I can get here at a decent hour.

@GLTHFJ60 im sure you have it covered but do you guys need help with anything earlier Friday setting up?

Forgive me if this has been addressed, but the meals outside of Saturday night are up to us as individuals correct?

Thanks for the offer! Depends who gets there Thursday and what's done before we get there.

Saturday Night and Sunday Breakfast are covered. The rest is up to the individual.

You can find me or John V when you get there and we'll gladly let you know what's left to be done. :)

What about tools for the workday in the forest on Saturday? Do we need to bring anything for that? Sorry if I missed that in these 5 pages of threads.
