Let me see, if we combined them... That would make it a GX465??? A little larger motor with more HP and torque along with a wee better MPG wouldn't be a bad thing!

Better throttle response and a pop up rear barn down glass. Plus the interior headroom feels bigger in the 470 and the legroom is slightly better in the 460. Too bad we couldn't shoe-horn the 5.7 in there.

Now we’re talking, I need some supercharger for the 460 and I would be a happy man for sure

400 hp gx460 with 4.88 gears and a tune would be the bees knees

I could only imagine the neck snapping acceleration. Probably would accelerate harder than my previous Charger project car. Hah.

Assuming you don't twist an axle or tear up the tranny!
Also, one thing many don't think about when adding ponies, and I learned this back when I was a kid and hot-rodding (one of my projects was a V8 in a Vega), was that once you use all that horsepower to accelerate, at some point in time you'll have to stop. I've all too often seen guys putting way too much precedence given to speed but not brakes. If you're going to get up to 100 mph very quickly, often you need to slow/stop just as quickly, thus upgraded brakes are a must.
For what it's worth, just my 2¢ on the topic.

I don’t want it for acceleration, I would like to add a trailer in the future.

the truck is fantastic in 4th gear climbing hills, but it would be a nice add on for a built and loaded truck and trailer. We’ll see if any company actually makes one

Yes, I was in low 1st gear and even that was to fast to keep traction, just had to plan ahead and keep in the fresh snow

It was super nerve racking, damn ice sheet, I’ll be honest it was one of the few times I was ready to call it quits and stop the movement.

These are the nice pics, the scary stuff I was not getting my camera out for. It was nice to know afterwards the truck can drive up stuff I can’t even walk on.

again really impressed by this gx, the traction control and wheel base is spot on for me and my wheeling places
