I was wondering the same thing while watching it on the news this morning. Our gathering is still a long way off and I would expect it to be over by then. But temps remain hot today and if it is windy it could be trouble. I also don't know where the trails are but I suspect that any trails that cut through the freshly burned areas will not an option. Right now the fire appears to be in the slopes between Breck and Frisco.

I know it's not imperative for this trip but I couldn't resist a few mods on the cruiser. Now I'm bummed, I ordered the OME 2 in kit a few weeks ago and have found out the front 2702 coils are completely unavailable and are on national back order. I called about every vendor I could think of to see if anyone had them in stock and no dice! Does anyone have a set they aren't using I could buy/borrow until mine get in so I could at least get it all installed for the trip. I'm leaving the 20th of this month to start a big trip through South Dakota, Yellowstone, etc with the family to finish out the tour with you all in Breck.

Bit more expensive, but Icon has some nice options

EDIT: I guess you'd still have to source rear springs with the Icon kits?

got some quick upgrades for the trip _ ProComp MT2s, ARB Skids and diff breather kit

Nice updates. I would take the shackles off your bumper 1) They are easy to lose, 2) They can snag on the rear where you have them 3) The shackle itself will ruff up from driving, on the rear there they are swinging and will constantly go back and forth.

I usually leave them on when wheeling. The tow hitch ball will definitely be coming off

Both of you indicated those dates on the registration form. We need to finalize numbers for sponsors and dinner(s) which also have capacity restraints.

I'm Friday/Saturday, which I believe I indicated on the form, so for logistics I can split with Romer or Dan. (Actually, Friday is still 50/50 for us - really depends on if I can get outta the city Wednesday evening or if we end up leaving Thursday morning). Sunday we're packing out for Grand Mesa.

Ordered one of these suckers for Moab and Breck. Mostly because I was thinking of buying one anyways for solo trips. I'll try not to fly it into any 200s. No promises though.

What is important is that some lucky rascal will hopefully fill my spot and get on a magazine cover like i did....make sure @kreiten is near you at all times. He's money with the glass. Was looking forward to meeting new folks but ill be in there like swim wear for 2018 where ever it may take place. Buy Cody and crew a beer for their efforts. Safe travels guys
