2008 "FJ45 RUN" 8-30 thru 9-1

Well, Pighead has been a little down of late...may be due to the fact that the Great State of Kalifornia is no longer sending paychecks. Until the friggin', stupid budget fiasco clears up, Pighead is a po'boy. BUT, Pighead finally did replace that Super Swamper (35x14.5x15. $336 bucks out-the-door) (that he blew out on the Rubithon. Like 2 1/2 months ago) (and has been driving around without a spare since) and can go wheeling again. And Pighead sold another pistol and can buy a pound of beans, a half-pound of bacon and a tank of gas.
Pighead would like to remind all those 'CruiserHeads who have received pieces/parts from Pighead in the past, on the promise to "just bring an extra six-pack next time we go wheeling" that this is the time and the place. Dropping names is vulgar. You know who you be.
Pighead will be easy to spot...he's the guy wandering around camp(s) with a plate and a fork and the perpetually empty Beermug.
Do NOT confuse Pighead with Mickey Rubicon.
Mickey Rubicon carries a beerbong, Pighead carries the Perpetually-Empty Beermug. Easy to tell the difference if you look closely.
But DO come see Pighead at 4:20 (AM or PM) (time zones may vary).
'CruiserKarma occasionally smiles even on Pighead.
Anybody need some balls and claws? Oilpans? Crankshafts? Course-spline anything? I'm gathering raffle stuff...
And Pighead keeps forgetting that it is Georg's Birthday ...gotta get some flowers.

I'm totally bummed because this was my only scheduled vacation.

Had an unexpected change of plans. I had to work today till around noon. I also had to pick up two of my rigs from different locations.

Also, my leg has been buggin me for the last 10 days. I stopped by the doctor and he Xrayed it. It seems 10 days ago I broke my leg. It is only a hairline fracture and that is probably what it was 10days ago. After I told him when I did it, he laughed and said a soft cast was out since I probably would not use it anyway. I asked for a picture to post up but he said No".

Have fun and drink a beer for me!


I hope someone brought a chain saw and you all are not relying in the Brantley Axe to do all the wood choppin.

Just got back!
What a great time. I was bummed that I had to head out early, but Im glad I was able to make it for the 3 days that I had.
Met some awesome people, saw some amazing rigs and the weather was out standing...truly agreat weekend. It was great to finally put some names to faces and see rigs in person.
Thanks to all who put this on, and to all the hospitality from all of my neighbors. It seems funny that I didnt get to meet everyone, but from what Im to understand, that is not un-common as big as this run is.
It sure seemed to be a great turn out...
