pretty cool to see a bunch of my "kids" at the event.:)

what can i say?! i had a great time. thanks again everybod for coming to the event, bringing raffle prizes, helping out at camp and on the trail, cleaning up the campsite,........another memorable b-day party for me.

we had just over 60 rigs this year, 14 of them fj45s. there were lots of new names and faces at the run, and some that were definetly missed. hopefully we'll get to see everybody again next year.

big thanks to my wife for putting up with my cruiser affliction, the fox family for feeding me the entire weekend, steve-o for riding bitch with me, dylan the trail mechanic, jerod the raffle co-hort, kevin the iron-butt, all the sponsors, bk for stacking rocks, watermelon G the entertainer, ......... i know i'm forgetting a lot of people here but you know who you are and what it means to me to have you guys hang out at dv with me.

now i can finally relax. well, almost, gotta get started organizing the upcoming "stockton cruiser swap meet" in early oct. :grinpimp:

Ditto my friends.............Had a great time. And thanks Georg for building such a good trail/rock worthy vehicle. Can't wait for the next event.

Awesome time as usual!

Thanks to Georg and crew for putting on a great event, Skillet for coffee and company on the drive home, Jon and Nicole for camping company and non-Doberman entertainment and especially Dave for loaning me a critical spare tire to make the trip home a no-brainer.

I'll eek out some wheeling pics over the next couple days. Best ones first. Enjoy!

Some 45 run 2008 photos

Hey, I have a few pics that I sized down to post, mostly Sunday on the leg from 1st to 2nd water crossing, FJ55 and FJ45 shots, and a fine pic of the 45's lined up in camp. Great seeing folks again and the weather... couldn't have been better. Thanks to Georg for setting the run. Mike

Ooooh...nice pic of a '55 there, Newbie Neae....
Buy a star and post some more. And expand your (full) mailbox at the same time.
Y'know, you could even research options for the lift on your Bitchin' 80...
But do post some more pics of that Cool Pig. Maybe flexing and stuffing like Pigs do...

Had a great time!

Deer Valley is definitely a beautiful place to camp, and the company couldn't have been better.

It was nice to see everyone and meet some of the new attendees, although I didn't get a chance to meet everyone because it was a great turn out.

I didn't take one single picture this year, but I have more than enough great memories from the trip. I already have it on the calender for next year!:bounce:

Thanks again Georg for putting together one of the best trips of the year! It was nice to meet little G, that is one cute kid.

Hopefully Kelley and I will see everyone at surf and turf!

Thanks Mike.As always, it's my pleasure to be able to offer something else to the landcruiser community besides tech information.

Hopefully we can get the BIG fire at SNT a little further away from the 'electronic' festivities this year, so that those that want to enjoy acoustic music at the campfire won't be at the mercy of the digarazzi.

That's Mrs Dirty Money to you sir!

Ed, it was a pleasure to meet you and your son Nick. Thanks for taking Michelle under your wing and leading her on her first real trail ride. I think she did very well thanks to your tutelage. And thanks for entertaining Hailey and Haley. I think they really enjoyed themselves spending time with you and Nick on the trail. And thanks for entertaining me, I enjoyed your multiple attempts at the PIT. I am sorry to hear about the damage to your original paint. We are looking forward to seeing more of the pictures Nick took on the trail.

Georg, thanks for everything. My family and I had another great time this year. Looking forward to next year with great anticipation.

Finally got a chance to sit down on the computer. Georg ....what an awesome place. For a first timer it won't be my last. Meet alot of great folks...( Keith, Dave and Michelle, Manny, John, and many others ). Thanks to all!....Now on to some pics
