I’m dealing with a couple small issues on my 2006 LX and am looking for some help troubleshooting.

#1. In the summer, my AC only blows cold on max AC. If I set it up to 65 or 72 it blows hot like it’s on HOT.

#2. Just noticed this issue today. Temp setting turned all the way hot and my rear heater is blowing cold air through the ceiling vents but hot air thru the floor vents. Front heater blows hot.

Fuse? Thermostat?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Check to see if your cabin temperature sensor is plugged in. It's located on the panel under the steering wheel. You can see the “grill” for the temp sensor by your right knee from the drivers seat.

My understanding was the rear heater does not blow hot air via top vents, that is only for AC. Someone please correct me if wrong.

Good tip on the temp sensor.
