Here is my pre-lift setup for the database:

Tire Manufacturer and Name: Michelin LTX A/T2
Tire Size: 275/65/R18
Offset: n/a

Hello all!
I have been reading this forums for a long time, finally I have something to ask and post!
A 2008 vdj200 4.5l twin turbo landed in my driveway and replaced the good old 95 hdj80 1hdft diesel.
I am planning on a 3" lift, fox 2.5" shocks and a lot of other good stuff.
Has anyone had a 305/70/17 tyre on his truck and can share setup and rubbing issues?
My other more solid option is to stay with 18" wheels and go with 275/70/18, although I really want those 34".
Would go 35" but it has never been done here and I am not sure I want to go pioneering on this one...

Options for now:
315/70/17 Goodyear Kevlar
305/70/17 Goodyear duratracs

For these to I will go with a 0 offset 17" land cruiser wheel

Solid 275/70/18 toyo at
Not much rubbing expected if any.

Will love to hear if anyone have any experience with these.

Thanks

you could roll 285/70 R18's or 295/70 R18's and be right in the 34 ballpark... just an idea

The only issue with the 285/70/18's, is that no one really makes them. I think you can only get them in the BFG mud terrains, but I agree, that would be a good size. I wish they made the KO2's in that size. The 295/70/18 is probably a good choice. I'm actually going to be test fitting some Nitto G2s either this weekend or next week. I just got my lift done, and the 275/70/18s look like bike tires. I'll let you know how they fit once they're on.

yep, the 275/70's do look like bike tires once your lift is on:) I might roll the BFG mudders(285/70's) for a bit until I get a year bumper, then I'll proly roll 35's:)

Do the KO2 come in black side wall or are people just spinning them around so white is facing in?

Thanks for your replys guys
I wish we had here some tall and skinny tyres but the options I mentioned abovea are the only reasonable ones that are imported here.
I would love to get 285/70r18 or somethingc close but they go wider as they grow taller here

Hey all,

Maybe I've been out of the loop, but did BF Goodrich just come out with All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires in the OEM size for the 200 series Land Cruiser--LT285/60R18? Tire Rack lists LT285/60R18 as available and so does the BF Goodrich website. I always thought you couldn't get the All-Terrains in the OEM size.

Sinister.

I see what you did, looks much better. How?

I cut them on a lathe. The powdercoating should be done by the end of the week.
We're having a hell of time finding shorter screws in the same thread that only have 4-5mm of thread (to delete the ring) so decided to try this. Something different that hasn't been done before.

what is it that your are doing to the wheels? I re-read the thread but I'm at a dead end?
help a brother out

Willy, I believe he machined off the inner diameter of the rock ring about a 1/4 -1/2"....i had to look at the valve stem to see how much difference there is.

ok, I see it now.
thanks man

Sorry I was going to reveal the project when they were complete. All black as requested.

Done. But I forgot the lug nuts so I will install next week.
Machined protective ring. First to attempt this.
