I know I'm going to get s*** for these but I had the tires and didn't want to "waste" them. 2015 Tundra Platinum wheels with 275-60-20.
No running at all which is strange because the 2014 LX 570 wheels with the same tires rubbed on the mud flaps.
What day the mud?

Ugh, the shame But good news I now have 2 sets of 5 TRDs at the powder-coater. Can't decide what to do next. Considering a machined face with tinted clear on the face and rings or remove rings and weld fill holes and machine face.
The Michelin MS2s really are a great highway tire and for those 3 hour trips to montauk the buzz of the KO2s does wear in you.
Looking for a 17" summer tire. The MS2 in that size is too plain Jane.

The KO2s are loud?? I was going to get them at the end of sept.

I'm a fan of Cooper Discoverer AT3s. I ran them on and off road on my 4R when it was my daily driver and they did not disappoint -- they look and sound more sedate than KO's 1 and 2, but they do what you want when you want. After three years or so I retired them for STT Pro's since it's no longer my DD, but if it was I would have stuck with them. When I replace the LC's Dunlops my plan is to swap them for AT3's.

They're not too bad but compared to the Michelin MS2s they buzz.
I had these tires in the garage so I just wanted to get some use out of them.
Sell them on eBay simply sucks. Everyone wants everything for free

Thought I would put a quick review of my new tires.
I put a set of Yokohama Geolander ATs 285/60/18s on one the LCs and the other has the OEM Michelin high performance tires in the same size. The notice the actual size difference is really kind of extreme. The Geolander's measure out setting on the vehicle about 1/2" taller and close to an inch wider. They look totally different on then the OEM tires on LCs. The new Geolander's really ride and drive nice too, much smoother riding then the Michelins. Very pleased so far.

Now that you have them for a while, what are your thoughts, I'm considering changing my stock bridgestone Dueler for something a bit more off road oriented. Any more noise on the highway than the michelins?

I have both sets and use/swap them regularly depending on where I'll be going mostly for a while. The Ko2 aren't necessarily "noisy" but compared to an incredibly quiet and smooth running tire like the Michelin LTX MS2, you can tell the difference.

My 2015 model LTX MS2 are really quite good and I use them on any sort of gravel forest road without any worries at all. They're E load range and mine have a decent sidewall being 32" on an 18" wheel. You Land Cruiser folks could gain even better sidewall by using the TRD 17" with a 33" tire netting an additional 1" of sidewall if desired.

These also improve fuel economy by 5-10% over the BFG. They are several lbs lighter and of course have a more efficiently rolling tread pattern and their "Green X" compound.

for those of you deciding between the Duratrac vs BFG ko2, I had the Duratrac and it seemed fine, but the BFG seems better. It's possible that the BFG may pose less rubbing potential at the UCA due to being slightly undersized from it's stated size. For example, my Michelin is noticeably larger than the BFG, but same stated tire sizes of 275/65x18 on same factory wheel dimensions.

One plus with the BFG is their size range now like 265/70x18 which is narrower just enough to eliminate UCA issues

Question about the Rock Warrior wheels: their offset is only +50mm...isn't that about the same as the OEM wheels? They don't give any wider of a stance alone do they?

Stocks are 60

a new addition to the spreadsheet....285/75/17 Toyo ATII on Rock Warriors, Icon/Tundra lift approx 3.5" in front 2" OME 2722 springs in rear. Running at 45 psi, definate hum at highway speeds. nothing like mud tires, but more noise than BFGs. had to trim mud flaps in front, no other rubbing. So far absolutely love the way it rides. Pulled a F150 out of a creek behind my house last week, 4-Lo on wet sand, didn't slip a bit.

@TexAZ , did you go to Ouray? Have you had any rubbing at full compression?

MScruiser, no I didn't make it to Ouray this year. We have a 6 month old, so the family voted to go to the beach instead of wheelin.
Definately plan on making it next year. hoping for sliders/bumpers by then. So far, I've only had to trim the mud flaps to avoid any rubbing.
I plan on installing the extended brake lines Saturday morning and doing a comprehensive compression/bump/turn test to make sure there are no issues. So far its been great. 80+ mph with a full load, handled great. Toyos seem to be settling in a little, the beginning of the trip the truck felt a little squirrely. Felt better coming home.

did you install the KDSS relocation braket?

No relocation bracket. There seem to be mixed reviews so I figured I'd see how everything turned out first. As of right now, I have no intention of installing it/them.
