Now, ideal means different things to different people depending on use and look.
40mm is where the scrub radius is ideal.
25mm is where poke might be ideal
0mm is where hardcore off-road (using tire as a protector for the door panels) is ideal
And so on.
As to the Alphaequipt wheels in 17” by 8.5 at 35mm, yes they are perfect for 35” tire.
