Hi Gaijin,
I was just wondering if you could tell me the recommended tire pressure for some Nokian Hakkapeliita's on stock Tundra rims. I think the measurements are 285/60r18 116R. I tried searching for an answer to my question, but couldn't find one. Thanks.

Appears to be an ISO tire (116 SL). You can use the table in this post, since you didn't post whether you have and LX or LC.

Whoops- it's an LC.

The RCTIP for those ISO-Metric 285/60R18 SL 116R tires on your LC200 is 33psi F/R.

@lx200inAR has it right in his table

Im really truly not in the mood to go to war today but i will do what i must.

Please for the sake of all that is any shred of intelligence you may have do not run 20-30 PSI on your Ps. You will actually die.
The calculations and methodology is dumb and wrong, you should never go below door jamb on any P tires no matter the size or load capability.
That second part is from the head of Toyo DEV/Engineering. Or you could do what some layman suggest misinterpreting things online.

This is like one of the last times im going to say it. Your life is literally at stake doing some dumb s*** you saw on a forum running a flat tire on the highway.
This is indeed actually dangerous misinformation. I feel like a complete pussy typing those words out and is a betrayal of everything i stand for to even use those words, but they actually apply here.

Thanks for the concern. I'm going to stick to 33 for my Nokians, and I'll definitely be cautious of any pressures that low. Tire pressure does seem like a pretty tricky, individual thing, but below 30 would seem weird.

The much lauded "RCTIP" for my 285/70r17 Ps was in fact 26 PSI. In other words a death sentence. And i know there is at least one member who runs it!
And then the same experts here tell you to you cant run below 35 PSI on an LT. All of a sudden the same principles in size load capacity go out the window.

The entire methodology is wrong.

Hey @gaijin, I took your request for 38psi from my current 33psi for the RGs 285/70/18 and it rides much better. Thank you.

You're very welcome! Always glad to help

Found some sweet new style wheels for 5x150 but I have to order 40 (from Enkei) to get them made to be sent to US. Do to a JDM Market limited wheel.

PDT1 Limited Edition in 18 or 20 in a various colors.

Is that this wheel? You just need 9 more volunteers to get to 40.

That is the full forged wheel only for race teams.

The PDT1 is the flow forged street version.

Really only need 7 more that need 5 each.
Good point. What is the cost for 5 going to be?

Roughly $650USD per wheel based on the current exchange rate and the price specified on the Enkei website. Not cheap but not that much more than the BBS Heritage wheel.

They weigh 28 pounds or 12.7 kilo and the offset is 53mm in a 18x8.5 size.

That is a lot less exciting than a Evo Dakar Corse.

They are similar to the Evo Corse Dakar which actually has better offset options at a nearly the same weight and color but at a lower cost.
That's what I was implying. ;)

If only manufacturers took five lug holes to heart and made an odd number of spokes, like 5, or 10.
Icon made a good start with the vector.
