Hi guys. New here. I drive a 2013 LC and I'm installing Ironman Foam Cell Pro that will give me 2" of lift all around. Im also installing camburg upper control arm and doing body mount chop. I also plan to trim the fender liners. Do you guys think I can clear 35" tires. Specifically Yokohama Geolander ATX 35x12.5x17? Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

The answer is, it depends. Lots of discussion here:

BMC and castor will help but you'll have to clear KDSS. Great visual aides here: 34s vs 35s on the 200 - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/34s-vs-35s-on-the-200.1145845/

Update here: I was able to get a set of BFG K02s in 275/65/18 on some Toyota TRD Pro BBS rims (PT960-34200-02). All stock; no lift and no spacers required. Here are the images for those on this forum who are interested (photos taken with suspension on standard height). I can't stress how great these look in person. Can't wait to try them out:

Any issues with your break calipers with these wheels and no spacers? How’s your clearance?

My Ridge Grapplers have been great. However, I find them pretty loud on the freeway above 70mph. Has anyone had these tires and tried something like a Cooper AT3 or other with better results in terms of being more quiet?

The coopers are pretty much silent. (I can't hear them over the Gobi rack :) )

I have the Ridge grapplers on my GX470 and hate them. I feel like they are super loud and can't wait to get into a different set. I like the look of the Cooper AT3's have great reviews from that community and I know the 570's are much bigger girls but I would suspect they would be just as good.

I love the Wrangler Duratracs, they are not very loud and perform excellent in snow…

I went off road with the RG and they performed really well but they produce a ton of road noise. Absolutely over it.

Hi everyone - Requesting some insight -

Have a 2014 LX, looking at either getting some 2018 LC wheels, or getting the Vector 5s... Is there an advantage in going to the Vectors over the stock LC wheels? Looks like offset is different, but I honestly don't understand the impact of that. Looking to drive some trails in the Ouray area most summers... Have driven them with the rental jeeps in the past.

Thank you!!

Offset of Vectors is +25mm compared to stock of +60mm (LX OEM are +60 as well). Your wheels will be pushed outboard from the truck by 35mm. Some people like the aesthetics of this. The larger the tire you go from stock the less offset you want both for fitment/rubbing issues and for scrub radius, but you have to go to a pretty big tire (35"+) for +25mm to be the optimal offset.

32"-33" is as big as you will want to go on OEM wheels without adding some spacers (1" spacer will allow you to fit 33-35 with some other adjustments). That being said plenty of people run the ICON Vector 5s and they are a looker (my #2 fav of the readily available after market wheels for 200 series). See @1world1love 's build. He runs that wheel with a good size tire (34").

To me the biggest advantage of going to the Vector would be going down to the 17" wheel. This opens up more tire options and lower prices (20-25% for tires in a lot of cases). And a little more sidewall, of course sidewall is good for off road, not so great for on road. I run the same size tire as @1world1love on TRD RWs (+50mm offset) on my LX and think it's great. Much preferred to the stock 20's. But I never tried a 34" tire on the 20s, so it's not apples to apples.

What’s the link to move the mad flaps forward? Thanks!
See below. @radman had some good info his thread too...

I think @lx200inAR covered it pretty well.

The stock wheels are very high quality, likely better than anything you can buy aftermarket. I’m personally not a fan of 20” on this platform, but there are lots of people that have been successful at fitting larger tires with plenty of sidewall on stock. This may be an option for you with spacers and some massaging of fender wells.

My personal opinion is that a 285/75/17 on +25 is just about perfect on this platform, but I am by no means an expert on these things. You definitely give up some use of AHC low mode and it also requires some massaging of the fender liner.

For those of you running 17”. I’ve been looking for a set of RW for a few years with no luck. Now looking at other 17” options.

that said I just finished our annual last summer trip up the Dalton highway. >700 miles of mud this year, they are braking rain records in the Brooks range. My 20” were caked with mud inside the rim throwing them out of balance. With the 20” I can somewhat easily scrape the mud from inside the rim and wondering what that would have been if had 17”.

Anyone with 17” have experience driving long miles at high speeds in mud?

If you're asking about a quick cleaning aspect.
I've gone through deep mud where it caked my RW and was a pain to try and clean out before driving home. Lets just say my entire body got a deep massage with how out of balance 1 wheel was.

I have been trying to sell the used 21" lx570 tires and wheels 2019 which I replaced with the HE wheels. Any tips on cost and where to sell, no luck selling here or craiglist. It's just sitting in my garage 🥺. Any tips on selling price and additional places to post.
