Those look great! Did you by any chance try fitting the wheels and tires before the lift? I plan to keep the stock height but will go with the set up you have or 285/65/18.

Unfortunately I did not, I had them installed at the same time as the lift.

Wanted to give an update to anyone considering Ridge Grapplers in 285/70r18 on OEM wheels and suspension.

When I originally placed the RGs, there was minimal rubbing to KDSS on full right lock. I recently installed .75" Bora spacers with the goal of eliminating the rub on KDSS... which appears to have done the job. However, there's a new rub (far more substantial than the original KDSS) on one of the bolts to the driver-side wheel well. So... off to Harbor Freight to get a heat gun! Hopefully that'll do it

Here’s how they look:

I mounted up a set of 35x12.5x20 Toyo At' Extreme's today - very impressed so far ! smooth as butter and have full travel.... will get some pics up this weekend.

loved the ridge grappler but these have a much wider footprint and roll super smoothly.... and with the ARB's they should suffice...

Did these work for you? Any lift or spacers?

I'm running the Ridge Grappler 275/65R20 on stock rims. Easy to pin front wheel well an inch forward and heat gun the mud flap. A little rubbing on UCA and sway bar so spacers are on order. Unfortunately I bought a set of 18" Tundra TRD wheels (collecting dust) and Cooper STT Pros which won't fit over the Stoptech big brake calipers the previous owner installed. They didn't have STT Pros in a 20" but luckily 1010tires took 18s back.

Trying to decide my next tires. 2015 LC on 18" stock wheels, came with Toyo Open Country A/T II that are about worn out now. Daily Driver, 40/40/20 hwy/city/off road and beach. I like the Toyo's but read a lot of good things about the KO2's . Toyo's site doesnt show the Open Coutry II as recommended for the LC fwiw. 1) what do you recommend for next tires 2)what pressure for the current Toyos? I've found by experimenting that 37 cold is ok but thinking of going higher after reading thru this thread. Thx.

Put these on yesterday. Goodyear ultra terrain 285/65/18 on scs Ray 10s. No lift, no spacers, no spring spacers. Just has to heat up the fender liners and push them back a bit. Took off the mud flaps until I can get spring spacers in the front as they rubbed a bit. Could probably fix that with the heat gun too but it is pretty visible so I want to keep that in original shape. No rubbing at all right now though.

That looks amazing. Is that a 275/70/18 up in the stock spare tire location?

I have an LX with 275/60/20 which are 33.0 (vs your 33.2). I have on my short list getting a more appropriate spare to replace the 31.8 that’s in there now and that’s why I’m asking...

Thanks,
Chris
Yep it fits fine

How do you like the KM3's in that size? Noise and handling good?
I love them, they handle the road great. My biggest reason for getting them though was the “toughness”. Some of my most frequented trails here in Phoenix have miles and miles of rocks shaped like giant daggers. Haha luckily the BFG marketing wasn’t lying as I’ve yet to puncture one. There’s a slight hum if you’re listening for it on the road but I don’t notice it at all anymore.

Thanks! Noticeable change in gas mileage? I assume you were on 285 before?

The cactus out there can be hell on the sidewalls too. Funny, had a buddy out there in new Tacoma with GY "kevlar" and punctured the OEM tire in less than 10 minutes.

How are the KM3’s doing with resisting chunking?
(Chunks missing after punishing g terrain)
