That orange color actually looks pretty cool

When you buy a rust free LC from out of state, but Fluid Film the s%#t out of it every fall, this is what you get going into your fifth Michigan winter. Beautifully ugly, really grimy, but still no rust!View attachment 3703831
I like the idea of fluid film type products, but boy that looks messy to work on.

^ Grand Rapids, MI (all of lower peninsula for that matter) is no joke when it comes to a corrosive environment! Roads turn white in the winter - not from snow, but the salt!

Great job on protecting the undercarriage of your rig!

Thanks, and yes, Michigan roads are brutal. Plus my truck is a ski rig that goes up North almost every weekend in the winter, no matter how bad the roads are. And for sure it's messy to work on, but I've already installed a lift kit, differential drop, and adjustable panhard bar, so now everything I do underneath is maintenance. Grimy bolts are better than rusty bolts!

In Silverton, a little dirty after taking her through Poughkeepsie from Ouray. It was rainy for the most part.

Looks a lot like my last trip there back in 2021. All it did was rain, everywhere I went in Colorado.

Almost at the bottom of Phantom Canyon just as the rain stopped. It was pouring when I left Victor.

CO great sand dunes. Beautiful place.

We were recently at Great Sand Dunes and this is what we were imagining. Instead, we were greeted by terrible wind which blew through the parking area with the tender caress of a sand blaster followed by lightning and rain. We shot some video of the dunes from the parking lot to capture the sand flying off the tops of the dunes, the background noise is people screaming and babies crying.

Very memorable.

We’re going back next year praying for sun.
