Believe this was a "gulf states" Toyota port installed option early on in 200 series sales. Not sure if any of the other regional Toyota groups did it as well. You'll have trouble finding the flares at this point.

Not as crazy about the flares, tbh. Someone else mentioned the Eddie Bauer Ford look, and I can’t unsee it. However. I love the look of some of the 100 series with the gray trim along the body and bumpers.

Where're you headed? Camping or hotels? I may be able to share some ideas depending on direction.

If you're looking for places to enjoy the evening:
- The Med (Eclectic med) - Great local restaurant
- Intermezzo - Nice, primarily italian restaurant
- The Kal Sports Bar - great pub, good food
- Marten's Pub (across from The Kal) - also nice, but it's under new management and I haven't been since the change
- Browns Social House - despite being a generic chain, the local one has always had phenomenal service. One of our favourite local places.

New shoes. Replaced KO2's (which I got over 60k miles) to KO3's. Did go from C load range to E but haven't noticed much difference in ride. Laces out of course...

Man, well timed...I was in LA a few weeks ago, not sure where in CA you are...but I saw a black defender every block it seemed like. The only thing it made me want to do was get home and dial in the LC, so I finally got it over to my buddies house to detail and ordered tires. Picked it up today from 3 weeks of methodical no rush paint correction and ceramic coating, and it's certainly ready to flex on folks...4R included
