Gentlemen I am also considering a Rivian. Please let me know your thoughts. I have major concerns regarding the Rivian, but definitely something I could warm up to, especially being here in Cali.
The ~40k dent repair bill story is quite concerning with the Rivians. I don’t own one, and the trade-offs may be worth it, but that would put a pause on me even considering one.
My wife put 9,800 miles on her R1T. We have had some niggling quality issues - which eventually resulted in a buy back/trade to the R1S you see above.
This has been fine so far (3600 miles)
