Went off-roading 1st time in my 13 TLC today in Pikes NF. Took one gnarly (to me) trail off Rampart Ridge Rd. Was 300u that turned into 300v (clockwise) and then back to Rampart Ridge. Was by myself and wussed out toward the end of 300v. Scared the crap out of wifey...she's just now talking to me again...ha.

Got some nice pinstripes too. Very impressed with what these things can do...

Well done sir. sounds like it was a great outing. lol I’ve been in those same shoes with the wife on the trail. The silver does well hiding pinnstripes, I’ve had good luck using the meguiar's scratch x 2.0 kit to remove them.

And why not relocate the fuel tank add a fuel cell and go with a triangulated 4 link. 24-28 inches of travel?(this is build from the same garage/person who built my LC, lets see how it goes) 🤘

loving custom fiberglass fenders!

take it you’re losing the back seat for the 4 link to pull 24” useable? going to cage it too?

This is not my vehicle. I scratched my plans to go rear long travel, My own 100 series with king shocks humiliated my this lc200 in terms of ride quality and performance in everything other than jumps. More travel is not everything I guess.

I have talked with the shop and he said for this type of project he will be loosing the rear OEM seats, and installing 3 aftermarket seats.

he will be caging it as well yes, with an engine cage as well for the front shocks mounts, LSK tundra long travel kit which is wider and has more travel and a slightly stretched wheelbase.

Road trip to Tennessee, passed this LX + sweet Airstream in Mississippi. At first I thought it was @TeCKis300, but wrong color LX.

(Sorry, not a great picture)

Haha, awesome. I gotta make it out mid-east one of these days.

I'm always spotting for Airstreams. I can't say I've seen another 200-series towing a Airstream in person yet. I think they make great tow vehicles!

This was from 3 years ago. Great trip for us (family of four). Left Texas, drove west. Stopped at Grand Canyon. Headed in to San Diego. Rented an AirStream in San Diego area and drove it north to Yosemite and Sequoia National Park. Came back same path. No issues at all along the way, even through LA mid-day traffic and high crosswinds just north of there on I-5.

I thought it towed extremely well, and I was running on stock suspension with over 200,000 miles on the truck. Upgraded suspension and air bags would be high on the list.

I shared my lunch with my dogs on Tuesday drive at 9988 ft on top of the Tobacco Root mountain range. We left town at noon for a quick trail ride and ended up driving up a trail climbing over 5000 ft and playing in the snow and then back down and at home by 6:00. It was a steep and rough old mining trail and I should not have done that trail by myself, so don’t tell my wife. The Madison Range is in the back ground.

Drove through there today... unfortunately it looks to be on fire.

I did see smoke at the north end of the range at around 4:30. Here is a view looking north at 2:48 and no smoke yet.

@HGB I love the white letter out on white rig...... I hate that all BFG's don't come like that stock. I just might have to get some of those tire stickers for my KM3's

Rich Mountain Road going north from Cade's Cove near Gatlinburg, TN. The gravel road is pretty tame, but it's a great drive & views.

The Cruiser in its natural habitat at the tops of mountains...

There was a random 100-foot, root-filled dirt pull out area at the top, otherwise the whole road was gravel.
