My 08 was delivered Sunday. A bit of a leap of faith as I am in GA and bought it from MA. It came as advertised. Runs like a champ and is pretty clean inside and out for 135k miles. Many shakedown miles and it appears the only thing it needs is to have the brakes bled/flushed as the pedal is soft. May do some other fluids as well such as differential, transmission and coolant.

That is just gorgeous. For the uninitiated, how's the wrap hold up?
It’s a year and a half old. It has taken everything the trails have thrown at it pretty well. Passenger side is pretty well pin-striped.

It has not taken what I’ve thrown at it. I’ve cut through it with the garage door, torn it with the awning, scratched through with a tool or two.

I have no concerns and no regrets at this time, and will probably keep it wrapped.

Awesome! What size RG’s?

Congrats, and great idea to baseline fluids, etc., unless you can personally verify it was done recently and not needed.

Let me know how the brakes feel afterwards.

I'm a first-time LC owner (a/o a month ago) and am learning/experiencing that the OEM brakes may be naturally soft. If so, then what's nominal vs non-nominal soft, I wonder? Mine had new front pads, calipers, rotors and brake flush/fill when I bought it...plus the rears (pads/rotors) were done about 20-30K ago...still seem soft to me. Again, being new to the LCs, not sure if this is normal. Thinking about going with stainless steel lines (many threads on this) in hopes of getting firmer brakes, but not sure if will really do the trick.

Thanks and I will let you know. Mine had rear brakes and a fluid flush done at the beginning of the year. I‘m hoping its just some air in the line and a bleed will take care of it. Could be a bad master cylinder which, looking on line, is 100 or less for a Duralast unit. Labor excluded of course.

I’m good for detailing, minor cosmetic repairs and the like but I’ll let a pro handle this. It’s a whole lotta vehicle to stop so I can imagine the brake system takes some punishment.

My baby grew up today! Ome nitro setup plus some Goodyear Ultra Terrains 275/70/18s. Wow, did this make a huge difference. Before and after.

Our rig tows like a champ! I have a set of Airbag Man bags on the rear to distribute weight. The 200 is so stable on the highway at speed pulling weight. I use a weightsafe hitch to adjust my balance. Little camping/off-roading action this summer near Tucker Ponds area, other side of Wolf Creek Pass, CO.

Awesome pics. The campsite in the top pic is probably my favorite campsite in the world. It shall remain nameless. ;)

It was great seeing you Dave

Some pics from our trip before we got there

another great weekend. More pinstriping and some new roads traveled. wedge myself through a new slot canyon and captured a few pics of the 200. Pretty happy with the stars pic considering it was with my phone.
