Had an awesome time testing my prerunner LC200 furthermore, no changes from last time. Perfect balance between small-medium bump compliance and big hits, jumps. I could use more spring rate (650lb current, to 750-800lb for example. which i will definatly be testing in the future when I attempt to do a rally style valving which is extreme stiffness for the best stability) however I would sacrifice a large amount of ride quality on everything that does not involve big jumps.ill save that for later. Still handled the big jump like nothing. 15 inches of travel upfront to sock it up alongside the king bumpstop, seat of the pants feel is outstanding on landings and going over whoops 50-90mph. (which was being fully engaged on the landings). It doesnt look like we were jumping very high but it sure feels like it INSIDE!
Since I am still running a digressive compression damping curve (well 50/50 since the omega bypass is more on the linear side) however the coilover and rear shocks are fully digressive on the curve. When I am over 70mph in the desert it uses up all of the travel amazingly. Buttery smooth.
However I am still ultimately and inevitability going to end on a progressive damping curve on a set of KINGs, when I finally decide to go 4 link long travel in the rear. The ICONS tho on the current setup are still outstanding, granted all the modifications I have done. It is far from factory ICON settings and curves, however the concept is pretty much the same.
The front end as I have explained before is mainly controlled by the omega bypass since it has most of the valving, the coilover is simply a coil carrier now, very minimal valving. Again I did this to achieve maximum adjust-ability with the bypass.
Didn't have much time to record decent videos. till next time though!, Enjoy!
