Yeah, I was playing around with it, even though I didn't even need to get out of 4 HI. I've used CC plenty in the dirt.

They make a 285, but only in a 65 I believe. Do you get rub with the 275/70's?
Were you asking me? No, the 275's don't rub at all. They're great, but the still look a little small on such a big truck. I've been bugging BFG about getting a 285/70/18 in the KO2s. I think it would be a great size. The 285/65 just looks too small as well.

This critter from a night mountain bike ride might look scary...but he does a great Bubba impression... :hillbilly:

Out in CO for the next week - poked around Mt Evans and some fireroads yesterday, heading to Vail area today.

got 1300 miles on the Ridge Grapplers - very impressed so far !! super smooth and very quiet with predicable handling -they do break out a bit sooner then the Coopers when pushed hard but given the tread that's expected....

swung by Slee's to get a pre-view of the bumper ( going on next Wed) - can't wait..... having the spare on the roof isn't optimal !

Amazed at how much junk we could fit into the back and still have room for our Dog....

Welcome to Colorado! The weather is lovely down here in Denver so hopefully it was good for you in the mountains. As for fire roads, if you are in Vail you may want to try and make it out to Piney Lake some time. Very pretty setting. Road is doable in a normal car but rough and you'll be glad you're in your LC.

Also, if you ever get over to Eagle, head south to Sylvan Lake State Park and then continue on and up over Crooked Creek Pass. Again, doable in a regular car but better off in the LC. If you're in that area and you like Aspen trees you can drive up to the Peter Estin Hut (10 Mountain Division hut) on Hat Creek Rd. And there is also Shrine Pass which should have the wildflowers going on at the top (top of Vail Pass, nice hike) then down to the town of Red Cliff. Very nice.

We're headed up to Beaver Creek to visit friends the end of next week. May stay overnight and hit one or two of those drives.

A little water by Animas Forks.
