Haven't gotten pics of my cruiser for a while so snapped these up. So great to be able to take clear shots at night with a phone compared to all those blurry shots i used to get during the day with the old phone.

I'm sure the interwebs can break down those Toyota NA barriers so you can get that trim piece. I've ordered UK spec parts from the UK and gotten JDM parts from Japan no prob.

Tell me more...

In the case of the UK, I looked up a dealership and just emailed their parts department. With respect to the Japanese parts, I went through japanparts.com, I believe.

I meant to say I wanted to know these rare parts you were buying.

Nothing super awesome --

From UK: the OEM emergency triangle (that fits in the tailgate opposite the stock tool kit) and spare bulb kit.

From Japan: third row seat covers.

I think I posted pics somewhere previously when I received them.

On a 2 week 4x4 safari in deep South Island. Pic taken in Skippers Canyon, once known as the worlds richest river. Old gold prospecting town long long ago abandoned once the gold was all played out. See if you can find it on Google Earth. Awesome trail. I'll post a few pics in a separate thread if there is any interest.

Got some ARB amber lens covers. Yes, I am still winchless. I can't decide on exactly what I want.

So how big a pain is it to install the winch after the bumper is already in place?

Not too bad :)

I'll have to take the bumper off, which will take about 30 minutes. The mounting hardware is attached to the frame, and will not have to be removed. There are 4 bolts that hold the main section of the bumper to the frame, and 8 smaller bolts that connect to the wings (4 bolts per side)

Ah! Doesn't sound bad at all. Might speed up my bumper purchase... :) Thanks.

Still need to buy a winch. But in the meantime, I now have very bright 225W spotlights.

Nice setup! Any particular reason you chose TJM over ARB? Looks great with the LED lights recessed into the bumbler. I'm trying to decide on which bumper to get and lighting system. Was thinking ARB Sahara with chrome hoop but would paint match powder coat the bumper and hoop. Install the winch control box inside the engine bay so I can install a led light bar in that spot. Just my idea and not sure it's the best one yet.

Hay, do you know the name of this site! :)

Nice pic, cool you have so many shots with your daughter with you, I get my son out as much as I can, else the video games take over!

Great shot and looks like a fun time!

LOL, oh yeah, IH8MUD:)... Truth is I love and hate it at the same time, pain in the ass sometimes to clean, maintenance etc, but it's fun as hell plowing through! Cruisers have been a part of our family for over 20 years, my daughter was almost born in my 91' fj80(not kidding:))
