How did the front wheels fit?

I bought the same wheels and discount tire showed me where the front wheels hit the hub. They told me to take them to a Machine shop and have them shave about 2in. fronts only.

Got inspiration and help from this forum especially with the Tundra TRD front center cap mod. I got the rims from craigslist take-offs with Toyo Open Country 285/65R18 tires with less than 2,000 miles for $750. I plastipped with Brass Monkey just to see if I like the look of the bronz-ish color. Plastip is already peeling and will paint the wheels with Dupli-Color bronze in a couple of weeks.

I just wanted to confirm that these TRD wheels fit our 100s with no issue? I understand the center cap might take some modification but I am not concerned about that. I read somewhere where some 2019 ones would not fit but saw that from some random person on FB.


EDIT: I looked back at page 36 where someone said yes these do fit without spacers.

Offset on the tundra wheels is the same as stock 100 series wheels. The only issue is the tundra center cap won't clear the front grease cap on the 100 series. Common solutions are 1) drill a hole in the tundra cap 2) Modify/flatten the factory grease cap 3) Add 1.25in spacers 4) run without center caps on the front.

2014 TRDs installed on 275/70 Duratracs. I will be modding the center caps to get those installed this weekend. Thank You to Summit Cruisers for the pics and info on how to make that mod happen. I got about another 3 months on these tires then moving up to the STT Pros.

I’ve got 2 miles on them. They look great. I will keep a post updated on the Exo Grapplers in the tire section of the forum

Close on the year but its a 2000 and the bumper was made by a forum member out in Wyoming who designed it to what I was looking for. I'd be happy to pass on his info if you like.
