SOLD! Bye Bye Lex, thanks Mud.
Tulsa, OK, $15K , Very Capable/ Non Beater
Two owner (me being the second), original Texas vehicle. I bought it bone stock about 8-9 years ago and it has evolved into what it is today. There are threads galore on Mud documenting this build if you search my user name.
I bought it with 144K, did the head gasket at approximately 180K, currently has 220K. Truck is 100 percent reliable and is very streetable. It sits on an approximate 5" lift with a combination of OME coils and extended mount L shocks, it flexes quite nicely. Truck has BFG KM2 37/12.5/17 mounted on FJ Cruiser wheels with 1" spacers; (Two matching mounted spares).
Diffs were done by ZUK at gearinstalls.com and have Nitro 5.29 with full master kits, (elocked) Original Longfield chromo birfs at around 200K. We initially had some teething problems with the front diff due to an issue that arose twice, (loosening carrier bolts that encase the spider cluster). This problem is apparently fairly common but has since been resolved. The T-case has Marlin Crawler 3.1-1 low rage gears, which are incredible.
Exterior of the truck has 2 tone Al's liner that mimmicks the original color combo and is extremely durable. All 140+ body holes were welded as opposed to using tape.
SLEE front bumper with 9000lb Superwinch.
4X4 Labs rear bumper with heavy duty integrated hitch, no swing outs.
Custom heavy duty sliders, also frame slider/ramps for rear lower control arm hangers, custom low profile cross member, slightly extended heavy duty lower control arms, front range heavy duty tie rod and drag link. Front sway bar "hanger" for simple storage of sway bar after disconnect.
Over the frame custom exhaust.
Landtank custom e-locker axle shaft.
Landtank seat extension rails (driver).
Minor Issues:
Power steering seeps a tad in cold temperatures.
ABS light is on, last time it was a front sensor, which I may have extras.
Driver's seat base adjustment is not operable, possibly plastic cap issue? Extra driver's seat included so you could swap out the skins (leather) onto an operating seat.
Factory disc changer works "sometimes".
I'm sure there's more mods that I can't remember, just contact me. This truck is fairly notorious up around Disney, OK. It will pretty much conquer whatever you point it at. Rim's have plenty of rock rash, so if you're the Starbucks type you'll still have plenty of instant cred.
