I'm on my third set of tail Lights and both rear quarters have been thoroughly massaged 🤷‍♂️ but that's what I build it for, it's amazing what a 80 can do if your not worried about body damage.
But I get it, your Reg is super clean and should stay that way !!!!
Following your Ute pickup build, can't wait to see where it goes.

The Ute will be the more off-road build. I have been picking away at buying engine parts and other random parts here and there. I have got a pretty good shelf going for the pickup but it is still a long ways out on having everything to build that Cruiser.

Cheers

My Cruiser is in the shop.

Winter is here now so I decided to start a bunch of projects. Cruiser is pretty much coming off the road for awhile, month or two while I get things done.

Mostly interior stuff, I am going to refresh the HVAC system as well as do some sound deadening. I have new door handles and locks but have been waiting to jump on that until I got some speakers. Today I bought really nice Morels for all around. I think I am also going to delete my RR finally and just a bunch of things all over the Cruiser. I need to replace the windshield too.

I have an OEM subtank with many new parts. See if I can get that in before spring too.

Cheers

I decided to pull the trigger on a new OEM grill.

Mine wasn’t horrible with under 210k on it but it does have 27yrs and was kind of showing it.

Polished up my gold grill emblem while I was at it.

I have an earlier “Toyota” grill I was going to install on this Cruiser. Decided to save that one for the HDJ80 build I have.

Cheers

Was disappointed to find the old jute super stuck to the floor.

Real nasty, ex-soccer mom Cruiser, it definitely had all kinds of beverages spilled in it over the years.

I am not going to remove the factory sound deadening. With a dry ice slurry I could have it off quick and easy but I have no concern for rust under it. So I am going to bury it with Dynamat.

Cheers

I got the rear floor done today but ran out of dynamat. So I need more for rear quarters and wheel well arches.

I didn’t feel like ripping out the HVAC system at the end of my day on Sunday. So I did this instead.

Should be good for the rest of my life and or ownership. Like a lot of things I am doing right now, get them while supplies last is the reasoning behind refreshing components.

Cheers
