1993 pzj75 8'' HP knuckles on FJ40 smaller knuckle arms (1 Viewer)

Probably being covered but couldn't find any info.

Wondering if the knuckles/disks/hub from a 1993 pzj75 front 8'' HP will fit to an FJ40 fine spline smaller knuckle arms housing.

If the 75 parts are like that of an 80/105 my gut feeling would be that they won't fit.

Have you posted tbis to the 70-section?

Heard somewhere they won't fit but wanted to verify before teardown.

Perhaps I should swap the whole axle. Any good threads for 70 axles swapped on FJ40?

I think they have the fzj80 outers on them, you may be able to make it work but the steering arms will be an issue. Look at the solutions people have come up with for using the fzj80 axles with leaf springs. The older bj70 stuff has been swaped in the past, do a search.

Turns out that the bells on the housing are around 10-13mm bigger thus the knuckles wont fit on the 9.5''housing.

What I will be doing, probably is mini knuckles, pzj75 arms, rotors and calipers.
