The lights had been on the truck less than an hour when that photo was taken. Additional tweaking will occur today.

Nice! I went with the old one spot one flood with my intensities. you will not be disappointed

Do those big lights have a high/low feature or something?
The 7" Aurora's have "daytime recognition" lights similar to the LED strips that are common on newer vehicle headlights. The silver strips on the outer edge will illuminate with the parking lights. It creates the illusion that I am driving a modern vehicle.

Rob has both 5" and 7" lights in stock. You can chose part flood / part spot or all spot. I went with all spot since I already have flood lights mounted in the brush bar.

To be clear, Rob's the brains of the operation. I'm just the dufus that writes the checks. :)
Glad you enjoyed the thread.

Sourced some electric hubs (thanks @mudandrock) for Rob to fabricate a "manual locking" option.

I've been promoted.....
I went from vice-president of paper procurement (toilet paper and hand towels in the shops bathroom) to executive vice-president of public relations. My salary doubled. :)

Rob canalbalized one of the small electric motors that no longer worked (you know the tiny motor that engages the hubs that you rely on) and was surprised how frail it was. There are literally gears in there that would be better suited for the internal workings of a watch. It's difficult to see how any Toyota engineer thought this design was a viable option for locking hubs.

Rob fabricated some limb risers for the 77 Series.
