You might need to add up a couple of leafs )
Well I am going from plastic to 1/4" steel that will cover the transmission, transfer case, lower radiator and oil pan.

So it is governed at ~700 RPM?

That should keep him out of trouble.......

Let that dog eat!! hahaha
I can here either a turbo or a jet engine begging to escape
I'm glad you could hear the turbo. I just thought that whistling sound was the battery going bad in my hearing aid.

I'll post photos of the finished product and hopefully shortly thereafter they will be available on Rob's website if there is any interest.

Holly s***. Rob is basically going to be a 1-stop for 77 kit
Yes and no.... :)
Rob currently has a 40 Series (Diesel engine swap), 60 Series (diesel engine swap), 70 Series (frame-off restoration) and a 80 Series (damage from wreck) in the shop. My 77 Series is fortunately the "test bed" for many of his designs and fabrications. (Recovery point, roof rack, snorkel adapter*, Interior/exterior LED upgrades, skid plates, turbo/ Intercooler,
hub upgrade, to name a few).

*My 77 Series has the goofy air box.

Might need to get some side protection the way you , we drive :D
It was less expensive to just put a roll of plastic wrap and duct tape in the tool bag. :)

Warning: The following post contains zero technical content.

Due to the kindness of fellow 'MUD members (in this case @Tapage) my license plate collection just expanded into another region. (Almost 100 plates at last count)
I now have plates from the U.S., Canada, Australia, the U.K, the European Union, the Pacific Rim, Central and South America, and the Middle East. When I'm old (I mean older) I'm going to sit in my Cruiser garage with a cold beer and admire my collection. :)

**If it were not for the kindness of David and numerous other 'MUD members who were willing to donate their time (and postage) my license plate collection wouldn't exist. .... So thanks guys.

Don't forget the ones you've loaned out.

I appears that the original skid plate on my 77 Series isn't so original after all. The cutout of this particular skid plate doesn't line up with the transmission drain hole. It does however line up with the drain hole for a manual transmission. Fortunately Rob noticed this before he cut the hole in the new (slightly improved) skid plate.

Well... that's good you have it. I have a MT and may need Rob to use it as a template!

Do you have the plastic OEM skid plate or no current skid plate?
