I bet that fellow he contracted could add that (grossly negligently) omitted feature to the roof rack for a small "change-order" fee....:grinpimp:

There should be some sort of brass-catcher added as well to keep the spent casings from denting the hood.....

I would not bet against Rob's fit and finish, or performance for that matter :)
Although I do appreciate the opinions of others, Rob has been designing custom turbo installations for decades so I'm very comfortable with his designs and suggestions.

Guys I appreciate the kind words. I'm very happy with the Cruiser. :)

To be clear, this photo of Rob's under-hood lighting system was taken without FLASH.

It lives under cover, will get washed 4 times a week and all it needs to worry about is loose shopping carts....:hillbilly:

Are you downplaying the danger associated with loose shopping carts? Obviously you have never been traumatized by one of those encounters.

Hmmm..:hmm:

A few more miscellaneous photos ........ Modified skid plate to be compatible with the ARB brush bar.

Another view of the illuminated engine. (Under-hood lighting system)

Looks great Charles.

Now order the turbo.

:)
Thanks.....
The components will be on the shelf shortly however I plan to run the 1HZ normally aspirated for a couple of months.

Wow- she is beautiful!

Getting ready to check the fuel economy on the first tank. :)
I'm anticipating something between 10mpg and 40mpg. : )

Charles,
I will be very interested to know what your mileage figure is. I just finished the first tank of fuel in my 12HT which had zero miles on a fresh rebuild upon installation. With a mix of in town and highway driving I got 18.7 mpg in my 45. I'm very pleased with this result! I hope yours is at least as good.

If I were to list the 77 Series on EBay I would tell everyone that the Cruiser averaged 35mpg but in truth I averaged 16.0mpg on the first tank. :)
