Jeeze still floating around the web. Here's a 3.5 lift

Nice ride Charles.

I had OME heavies in mine and ordered Manafre shackles as they gave me an extra inch of lift for a total of 3.5 inches. Not a wobble or issue with leaf springs and I had the shorter 73 series.

You may not remember but I can send you pics, my tire size was 33 12.50 on 15's.

Why not paint the fenders and install the other factory mirrors that go below the A pillar. Not much issue with snorkel clearance then and you won't have bush catchers on the front of your hood (damage multipliers)
My goal is to keep the mirrors if at all possible (I actually like them) and I will possibly forgo the snorkel to do so. The current suspension employs some long aftermarket shackles that will end up in the trash can. My goal is the install a relatively tall and skinny tire (I hope Dan doesn't read this post) but the 15" rims may dictate my choices.
Good to hear from you again, it's been a while. :)

The shop just happens to have a brand new Terrain Tamer suspension in stock that I've been peeping at every time I go by.

You can't imagine how many nights I laid in bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to figure out how to own this particular Cruiser. I even considered criminal activity (creative importing) but eventually came to my senses. :)

Nice thread. I can't wait to see this. I'll have to stop by Robs soon anyway, hopefully it will be there. If not when my visors come in we should meet up.

Looking forward to see where this goes.

Another nifty device....
This small door covers the winch cable on the forward portion of the sore lip / front porch bumper.

The door itself .....
All of this plus the bumper itself will be removed and stuck away somewhere.

Looking forward to see where this goes.
Where it goes will depend on how successful I am at hiding my slush fund from my wife. :)

Different subject ......
I stopped by my local Toyota dealer this morning I saw this. A face only a mother could love.

That's pretty screwed up......

Y'all need one of these for your new winch and bumper....
that hook is not up to your standards :)

Everything from the sore lip bumper forward including that hook will most likely end up in the trash heap. As he's done several times before, Rob will modify the new ARB brush bar to work with the mechanical winch and all of the current hardware will be removed.

I've had and removed several of the front porch bumpers but this is the first one that had the door / cover.

Make a pdf of that for your records! I'll want it in six months time ;)

Bear in mind my wife is Japanese and she assures me that the document does not contain the words South Carolina or New Mexico. :flipoff2:

I'll probably just sell the HJ75 and use the proceeds to build the 77 Series. :)
