Posting up to see if there’s any interest. I’ve had this a little over 3 years. I’ve put around 1500 miles on it. It has 334 kilometers on the ODO (223k US). It’s the 12HT with a 5-speed. The PTO was removed by the previous owner in Japan. It’s had one repaint and has some rust coming through in areas. None of it has advanced since being in central TX the last 3 years. I put an OME lift on it as well as 5 new tires. I have 6ish 12HT’s in other vehicles here at my place and this by far runs better than any of them. Even my personal truck that has a new old stock 12HT with 23k on the ODO. Everything is set to factory specs and this is an unmolested truck. Agreed with @samc2447 , this is a very nice 61. I have driven it as well and it is a great truck with typical body flaws of a 30 plus year old vehicle. Mechanically it is excellent. I actually rode in it with @dogfishlake piloting this awesome and fairly rare rig.

The underside is in great shape. These are the only pics on my phone which was when it was shipped to my house 3 years ago fresh off the boat from Japan. I did swap the Jenky JDM suspension to OME. I can get some undercarriage pics and post them tomorrow. The frame and underside is definitely in great shape. I’ll post some pictures tomorrow. Than you. Jimmy.

You asked about other know issues. The over head console works (outside temp/altimeter but it’s very dim. Never looked into it though. And the clutch is most likely original and may need replacing in the near future. I drove it hard the other day and it performed well. I live in a fairly hilly area. The sunroof works great but I’m assuming it’s out of adjustment on the stop. If you don’t let go of the button after closing it will click. As of yesterday I’m much more motivated to sell it as I’m a sucker for projects. Picked this one up in Dallas (blown motor) which was here on the MUD classifieds. I’ve never been a flipper but rather a collector. Decided a while ago it’s time to start reducing the wagon footprints at my place.

They are great Mike. Actually seen a few guys retro-fit them into a 60 series trucks that came with the bench seat. Not sure exactly how it’s done but does require a few modifications.
