Posting up to see if there’s any interest. I’ve had this a little over 3 years. I’ve put around 1500 miles on it. It has 334 kilometers on the ODO (223k US). It’s the 12HT with a 5-speed. The PTO was removed by the previous owner in Japan. It’s had one repaint and has some rust coming through in areas. None of it has advanced since being in central TX the last 3 years. I put an OME lift on it as well as 5 new tires. I have 6ish 12HT’s in other vehicles here at my place and this by far runs better than any of them. Even my personal truck that has a new old stock 12HT with 23k on the ODO. Everything is set to factory specs and this is an unmolested truck. Cool fact on this one is the factory light bronze tint on the glass and the Uber rare plexiglass back window.

Man ya learn something new every day. I thought 86 was the last year or 87 was a half year or something like that

The first 88 I bought I did the same thing from Calgary. I except I drove it back and took about a month road-trip
Was no beauty queen but it had all the options and it was cheap.

I looks for years to find the same truck that wasn’t rusting away. Finally found one a couple years ago and grabbed it.

I’m on the outer banks of NC. Not terribly far Smithfield. Crazy how built up its getting in the areas surrounding Raleigh and all of N.C. for that matter

I took the flairs off and sprayed it with liner to hide the holes. Still haven’t swapped the round headlight front clip in.

What a great truck and awesome place to live. I’ve spent many summer vacations at Okracoke with the family. Hope to get back there soon.

do you happen to still have the flares? If so let me know if you’d sell them. @drenmaster already knows he has to sell me his if he goes that way .

Ironic I think that photo was taken at south point on Ocracoke. The whole outer banks used to be a great place back in the day. Now just like every where else it is getting overrun by over development.

It still has its moments in the off-season though.

Half the flares on my tan truck were shot…that was part of the reason for taking them off.
I saved a front one bc I can never get rid of good parts.
Keeping it as a spare for the shiny truck in case something happens.

If I ever decide to get rid of it I’ll let you know
