so will pulling a couple leaves from the rear spring pack ...

I know that even with the rear tank full it still has a very "firm" ride. It is definitely a vehicle that requires a lid on the coffee cup . I learned that lesson the hard way.:bang:

Thanks to "beno" ( American Toyota ) the clutch slave cylinder is enroute. Hopefully I will back on the road in a couple of days.:)

Finally got my "broken" Cruiser back home.:) At least this time it was pulled by another Toyota on a fancy trailer.

"beginning of the money pit slide".......you have been talking to my wife again. I believe she said the exact same thing last night. I have learned to ignore her also.:flipoff2:

Although it doesn't have anything to do with Land Cruisers, I would like to point out how innovative my friends trailer is. I wish I had taken more detailed photo of the front portion. In the front storage area there is a winch, large battery, battery charger and ample storage for an assortment of straps and tools. The battery is charged constantly by the solar panel ( on box lid ). The trailer has high enough standards to carry a Land Cruiser "in style.":) ( It sure beats the heck out of a logging chain hooked to the back of a F-250 )

That's a nice old ute 1978HF45, brings back memories of my old one - I had a 1988 FJ75 for a few years. Never gave an ounce of trouble. Mine didn't have the A/C or the dual Tanks, but I bought a dual tank setup out of a diesel model and fitted it afterwards.

The one vehicle I've owned over the years that I wish I never sold!!

Since you got your clutch repaired, why is your "honey" is seating on someone's back ??
By the way, your 75 is cool on the trailer? Extremely clean!

And? Did you fix the slave? You got it on Friday damnit!

:)

Christ, I am listening to Neil Diamond waiting!

Patience young grasshopper.:) The part did indeed arrive Friday via UPS however I am now 4,000 miles from home and will not be back until Tuesday night. Hopefully by Wednesday I will be enjoying the sound of that powerful 2H once again. Who the heck is Neil Diamond?:D

I can't drive Cruiser but at least the scenery is nice.:)
