OK I hate to do it...
but it is still for sale if interested. Gotta move on... $9800.00
1985 fj 60... I have for 10+ years enjoyed driving this rig all over the US and it is currently located in Jefferson Colorado. 5, 16" Stocton steel wheels with BFG AT's, Whiteline HD front sway bar, Old Man Emu suspension, rebuilt front and rear axles with 4.11 Sierra Gears, ARB Air Lockers front and rear, MAF trans tranny over flow kit, SOR smog pump eliminator pulley, TLC 4 piston brake calipers, engine rebuilt around 200K by previous owner, head rebuilt last spring while I had it apart to check tolerances and freshen gaskets, Webber carb, Man-A-Free ceramic headers with full heat wrap, tuned exhaust with free flow cat, ARB on board compressor, AC, Optima battery, 42 gallon fuel tank, Safari Snorkel (not hooked up, was put on by previous owner), ARB front bumper, 10,000 pound WARN winch, IPF driving fog combo lights, KAYMAR rear bumper with dual swing outs... spare tire and Jerry can, SOR spare tire cover, replaced interior carpet and felt, installed gray Tough Duck seat covers all around, replaced driver and passenger seat foam with new thicker units, larger Aussie rear view mirrors, replaced water pump and fan clutch the other year, replaced power steering pump 2 years ago, have the rebuild kit for the steering box, alternator replaced this spring with BOSCH unit, on the roof there is a Hannibal rack with a roof top tent set up to open over the front hood with a ladder down to the ARB bull bar, there is also a side awning, twin jerry can rack with 2 nato water cans, shovel mount with shovel, I have a brand new cover for the tent as the original one is showing it's age... I have used this truck for it's built and intended purpose and there fore it is not a show piece. This truck will best suit someone who, "CAN WORK ON IT THEMSELVES", as I have. The body and frame are in good shape with some rust on the lower rear quarters, lower tailgate and the odd spot here and there. Nothing a weekend with some sheet steel and a welder would not cure, or better yet some old PBR cans, 5200, and a pop rivet tool. The engine is leaking some oil near the proverbial fuel pump spot which will require some new gaskets to make right, The input shaft and or the throw out bearings are needing some love as one or the other is making some noise, some of the bolts from the Y pipe to the exhaust have stretched causing a slight leak which just needs some new hardened bolts, sometimes pops out of 4 high on rough road. I drove this rig fully loaded with a tandem axle U-Haul also fully loaded from Allentown PA back here to Breckenridge Colorado this past spring with no problem and I personally would not hesitate to take it anywhere. Thanks
