We are selling our beloved FJ60 that we have owned since 2021. Original 2F 6cyl 4.2L, 4 speed trans, OEM carb, transfer case, manual locking front hubs

This has been a great truck to drive as a recreational vehicle but we needed something a little more practical (household with a kid) so we just got a 100 series and decided to let this one go. It's been driven roughly over 3000 miles since 2021 when we bought it. It has taken us all over Washington and we have enjoyed it quite a bit. 4x4 works great, had a lot of fun in the snow. This truck is a regular during Land Cruiser meetups in Seattle.

We bought this from a nice fella in Bainbridge who did all the work restoring, upgrading and updating the truck. We have receipts for all the work that was done in the last 5-6 years and a lot of work has been done at Torfab. Under our ownership, it has gotten frequent oil changes and also added the ARB Side Steps.

These are the things the previous owner did before we purchased:
Front ARB Bumper
4x4Labs rear bumper w/ tire carrier, high lift jack mount, 3 can carrier, and flip-down table
ARB Old Man Emu 2.5" Suspension, Heavy leaf pack in rear, medium front, grease-able anti-inversion shackles (installed 2017 by Torfab)
RhinoRack Pioneer Platform, 84x56 (designed for an 80 series, but fits 60s with an extra mount provision), with rear cargo loading roller (awesome for loading kayaks/lumber) and heavy duty awning mounts
WagonGear cargo area interior panels, unhinged so they pull off entirely (good if you have cargo in the way/drawers that impede a hinged design)
BMW full power e90 seats w/ Torfab brackets
Tuffy center console
New DNP carpet kit installed in 2019
Kilmat sound deadening on floor of truck, + noico green insulation over trans tunnel and front driver/passenger floor
33x10.5x15 BFG K02s on OEM wheels, powdercoated black by Skagit Powdercoating
Aussie/Euro Mirrors
Trucklite LED headlights
Redhead steering gearbox + Saginaw pump
Seatbelt Planet front/rear seatbelts
Champion 3-row alum radiator
Trail Tailor front recovery points
Truck desmogged in 2016 by Torfab.

Other maintenance done previously: water pump, all new rubber hoses (radiator/heater hoses, fuel hoses, vacuum), various engine/driveline gaskets (side cover/oil pan/timing/valve cover/rear main/trans input/xfer case output), temp sensor, oil pressure gauge, fuel/air filters, knuckles, new 555 tie rod ends, OEM steering + rear driveshaft U joints, 4runner wiper arms, OEM horn pin, pioneer stereo, new battery/starter cables, new ebrake cable/hardware, new rear hatch struts, front calipers/pads. Truck has no leaks. A/C was removed by previous previous owner.

Exterior paint is "Midnight Special" dark blue Monstaliner. Not a show truck or a purist Toyota truck or dreamy perfect 60 series, but resists scratches, pinstriping, trail rash, etc. A durable paint if you're looking for a truck to take on expo/adventures.

After two years of ownership, there are a few things that would need attention even though it runs great for its age.
- Steering gearbox leaks - it's minor and hasn't bothered me. You will see a few drops on floor after driving. If you can get it out and send it to Redhead, they will rebuild it. Torfab doesn't deal with Redhead anymore :(
- Brakes have felt a bit squishy.
- Noticed temp spikes a few times after driving in the highway for several hours during this summer. Might need a radiator burp or could be other things such as gauge, fan clutch etc.
- unfortunate rips on both sides of the headliner while moving furniture which has been patched

Had an appointment scheduled at Torfab to go over these but we decided to sell as is. Hoping it will go to another Land Cruiser enthusiast who will enjoy the truck as much as we did. We don't need help selling. Clean title in hand. Local Sale only. Thank you!

This seems like a great price for this truck. The PO already did all of the heavy lifting and this price certainly seems to me that you get the advantage of all of their hard work for much less than the cost of those efforts. Good luck!
