1984 sr5 modified need help w/ high idle and front wheel noise in 4x4

Ok, another question... when I am coming to a stop I sometimes hear a distinct, single click from either the front left wheel or undercarriage. It isn't noticeable other than the sound. Could it be a hub and possible related to the 4wd rubbing, cyclical noise I was hearing? I know that is vague but wondering if anyone else experienced a click when coming to a stop.

Click: Check that your brake calipers are on tight. If they are loose, I could imagine it making a noise upon stopping. Also check for anything that should not be there, debris etc...
