So I came across one I've never seen before.... Now for all you Cruiser experts which is rare-er? A Toyota cassette Deck or an incolometer?

I have yet to test the cassette player (I don't have any old cassettes laying around), the radio still works great!

I’m in the same boat except I have a Toyota 8-track player that piggy backs off the AM/FM radio. I’m pretty sure the cassette player is wired the same way.

You should buy a Bluetooth cassette adapter to test/add functionality to the original setup.

I have a Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s greatest hits cassette tape, but I can’t let it out of my sight....that cassette deck is super cool. Way rarer than the inclinometer!

What you need there sir is a finely crafted mix tape...but I don't know you that well.

I got that mix tape. Let me find it in the basement. Do you want ballads or hair bands? Well, they will probably be the same....

The 87 parts rig I bought had been sitting since 2001. Found a bunch of tapes, a Sony Radio/Tape Deck that has a surround that fits the dash perfect in the factory spot. Also had the factory speakers in the back and a webber carb kit.

Some college kid drove it apparently. Never was cleaned out, even had clothes and mail in it; almost give me a macabre feeling.

The Sony radio is cool though, gonna restore it for sure.

I’ll get pics this weekend.

I have a pile of tapes too. Keep meaning to pull a few out for my son to see and hear in the Nissan which has a tape deck.

^^^ Jeaous! I have my tapes (and a few LP's) right near me. You have now inspired me to look through them. Apparently my 'don't throw away and reuse' was evident in the late 90's too. I have tapes that I copied kid music over!

This is awesome!

Sorry, I had "Rio" but it was on vinyl.

A guy in my hometown had this album cover painted on the hood of his then brand new Honda Passport in 92/93.

Now I will have to get it hooked up and get a video if it works!

So I’m home watching it snow, my son is w/ his dad who expectedly got a snow day (teacher). Baking some bread and decided to pull out the emergency ‘boom’ box. Batteries installed, finangled an antenna and trying to decide which bad 90’s tape I should listen to first.
