I am pretty excited to try out the Dobinsons springs and shocks. They have definitely taken a different approach to spring design in comparison to OME.

60 series front breather hose assembly is a nice way to get an extended breather. OEM Hose, frame clip, breather and clamp all come as one part number all for about $28 each. They reach up just past the frame rail on a 40 which really is as high as most need.

But he’s a machinist. Why not spent 5 hours making one?

😬

The 60 breather is just the hose, so he would have still had to make the barb thing

Although that part is available for a Tacoma (I think) for like $3.

Made in shop > bought from button pusher

Stopping production work on a 250k Mazak to make a single hose barb. :meh:

Still not the dumbest thing I have done this week.
Are you hiring? Sounds like a work environment I could settle into very easily.

And I did something wrong….

The hub studs are too long 90116-08325. The unthreaded flat sticks out past the Aisin hub.

The flashy acorn nut I bought 90170-08204 are not deep enough for the stub.

I bought these, but the front threads are different on my breather than come in the kit for a 78. The rear one also hold a brake union so it needs to be longer.
I was going to get my son to make me ones that fit too.
