Why did you decide to remove the oil cooler? Just streamlining? One less thing to leak?

The main reason I eliminated the oil cooler was because my York a/c compressor bracket makes accessing the oil cooler hose impossible, without removing the a/c compressor, alternator and bracket, and that require removing the radiator, radiator shroud and fan clutch.

The main benefit is that I can more easily access the fuel filter and adjust timing.

I just can’t see that little heat exchanger doing too much. I like those hoses gone

My original brake booster is failing now that my brakes and master cylinder have been replaced. I should have just replaced this with my master cylinder.
I am guessing break fluid from the master cylinder is a contributing factor to my failing brake booster.
