Hello everyone! Yes, I did just join ih8mud and like many others. I've been lurking the living daylights out of this forum for quite a long time! Mainly the classifieds section as I'm on the prowl to replace my 2002 Golden Pearl 4Runner with a 4th Gen. So.... if you know anybody with a cream 4th gen, point them in my direction!
What finally brings me to register on this site is my friend's '76 FJ40 that I am selling on his behalf. He is currently out of the country but left the FJ here in town for me to sell. To be upfront, he is getting out of the FJ in order to help facilitate a home purchase here in Colorado.
Here are the details:

It was mildly restored by Redline Land Cruisers here in Colorado Springs a few years ago. The tub was sprayed with line-x and exterior was given a fresh coat of white paint. Current owner added the highly desired barn doors in the rear and threw in the jumps seats for those days where your family is joining the adventure with you. He also requested a vastly upgraded roll cage setup that protects the entire passenger compartment. The FJ is also properly lifted and has trail armor all around.
The drivetrain is all original and in great working order. Has the factory 2F straight six and 4spd tranny!
This is a great turn key FJ if you have been on the prowl for one you can start driving right away. If your interest is more towards building an FJ exactly how you want it, then you cannot go wrong with this as the expensive stuff is done for you.
