I’ve been wanting to do this for 6 years to a 2F since JimC mentioned it to me

This is exactly what I want to do with my 2F.
Curious as to which water pump you went with. I'm deciding how to best eliminate the oil cooler on my '84. Will an earlier water pump bolt right on?
Also, what's the part number on that oil filter attach fitting?
I already have a new-ish pump, so I'll hit up toyotaMattThis is a oil cooler style Aisin water pump and I used some cap that @ToyotaMatt sells. I looked for a replacement today on his site and could not find it.
This is the one I normally use
Amazon.com: Aisin WPT-063 New OEM Water Pump Kit : Automotive
Buy Aisin WPT-063 New OEM Water Pump Kit: Water Pumps - Amazon.com ✓ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchaseswww.amazon.com
The oil filter housing is anything pre oil cooler. If you can find one with the bung already in it then it’s 1/8” BSPT and will use a Toyota pressure gauge
This one had no hole at all so I got a tap and die set for it to do the NPT threads for the Dakota sensor

What’s the issue with GPS model?Yes. Just do not get one with the GPS speedo.
It takes too long to find itself if you store your vehicle in a metal roof shop. What’s the issue with GPS model?
Ahhh, I see. Thanks. It takes too long to find itself if you store your vehicle in a metal roof shop.
But once you're out on the road for a few seconds it picks up and reads properly, correct? No need for it to read a GPS speed signal when parked and off in a barn.
Did u use the antenna? Mine picks up as soon as I am on my driveway and have had zero issuesIt just takes too long in my opinion. Last time I was with John it was about 7 miles before it kicked in. I also have a external antennae on it.
The Tcase one works fine. It’s just more junk.
Maybe it’s where John lives. Yea. It’s at the windshield. Do you have a metal building it sits in? I noticed a lot of delay here coming out of my shop but not as bad as 7 + miles.Did u use the antenna? Mine picks up as soon as I am on my driveway and have had zero issues
It depends. If you live in a part of the country where there are no trees you are fine. All of the roads around where I live are canopy roads. It usually takes me about 7 miles of driving before I get it to pick up.But once you're out on the road for a few seconds it picks up and reads properly, correct? I do not know where all those Land cruisers are but in my world it would be called heavenSeats are dropped and I walked around with Mike and his guys and picked small parts we needed
