Lazy ass temp UPS driver tossed a monkey wrench into my schedule to rebuild the rear brakes today and have it a roller again.

I have plenty to do so I switched gears and did some small stuff

Matt makes a nice little pigtail for the in-dash starter switches they still sell OEM. The wire colors don’t match exactly but he gave me a call and told me what to do. Basically match the 3 that are corresponding and put the white to black.

Next I swapped out rhe 72 blinker switch for a 1970 blinker switch that is a) still available new OEM and b) matches up with the early harness. I’ll send this 72 to skunkworks so Matt can make a kit to mate the early available switches work with 71-72 models.

I picked up this cool period correct tool roll for it. We are missing one long wood handle Phillips (JIS) if you have one ……

Also the big box of new brake parts landed. I sorted them Left and Right and I’ll put this puzzle together tomorrow

Visors on the wrong side? (won't drop down to cover glass)
All looks amazing!
Funny. Sure are…..

Edit. Actually that’s hurting my brain. The passenger side is right. I think Roger may have sent me two rights. I’ll have to dig the bags out tomorrow and look at the PNs.

You should be able to spin it around to make it a left. If you need a pic of the parking break assembly let me know and i’ll dig it out.

Those are 60 series rear brake parts. Thanks though.

As for flipping it. I keep looking at the picture and my brain keeps hurting. That’s got to be a RH visor

I think jdc1 is right it can be turned to mount correctly now that I look at it, but it does make your brain hurt, flipping and turning in your mind, will be easier to hold it and do it.
turn it and mount upside down then fold arm inward to center and fold the visor up....I think I have that right....haha
