Is that an 80 series denso pump? Is that Walbro male plug in a direct fit?
Dunno. Cam puts this kit together. I try not to divulge all of his trade secrets 😬

Prepping the rear for a lot of changes

I went back out after that last post because Red bailed on me to play Bunko or some nonsense.

These are FJ Company brackets that allow you to run late 40/60/70/80 single cylinder drum brakes on any 40 axle

Just trying something new. John is always up for something cool and different so he greenlighted these.

One side down and my drilling arms gave out. This is about 2x thicker than drilling a frame.

Tom Woods always sends a pack of bolts with each driveshaft and I often don’t use them in favor of new OEM Toyota so they turned out to be the perfect setup for this

I got the drivers side FJCo 60 brake adapter installed this morning then took a few parts to PowderKeg.

When got back I stabbed the Auburn LSD stuffed pig into the housing

Next I swapped in the Dobinsons

Here are the Dobinsons next to the OME. Two ways of thought here for sure in spring design.

All these mods for some off road adventure, cant imagine it hits the trail, but hopefully its used as intended!! Always fun to watch your builds🤙

The Dobinsons are because we enjoy our kidneys to function properly.

The LSD is because John lives on a road that turns into 3” of mud per 1” of rain

The flip kit because they look bad ass.

When you make the crossmember for the h42/split it lets me remove the rear bellhousing mounts but then if you want to use the mounts to do the slave then you just modify the mount (chop it off)

I just put a Georg-built H42/split w/tcase brake in a '74. I kept the stock rear bellhousing engine mounts, did not add crossmember. Am I cruisin for a bruisin?

Not at all. It’s perfectly fine. The 74 has a better transmission hump for this (bigger)

The 72 I just put this setup in before this truck I hung from the bellhousing. It’s a smaller transmission hump and it’s very close around the shifter.

Choke, throttle …. Neither cable will be used but the 72 has a lot of holes to fill in the dash.

Lots

i specialize in filling oem holes with period correct parts .....

these are for any of the larger un-used in-dash indicator lamps or the CIG. hole as well , faithfully reproduced in stainless ...

13.9 hardware. Oddball stuff. Not sure I follow TW's choice there.

I was able to avoid this job on the last 3 of 4 trucks that have come through the shop but the 3.70 swap means a full front tear down which sucks ass.

Canada, I mean Indiana, was hard on the rotors and calipers just sitting there idle but I’ll clean em up
