...and what brake fluid does to your crappy po's maaco paint job

Brake fuild ruins all paint-it doesn't matter how expensive.

Heres the interior being ripped out of the car the same last summer. i was getting ready to put in the stock jump seats in the rear and stock front bench seats in the fron ( never got to it till this year). I was also to checking for rust under the po's carpet that was glued to the bed. I also removed the rollbar padding just to see that parts off the rollcage was rotted a little.

heres the ugly carpet

and heres a pic of me removing the stinky sound deadening that was only in the front of the cruiser. I removed it because i wanted to be able to see any rust or holes that were being covered up by the po. ALso the night before my cat Burly took a squat on it hehe.

Who rebuilt the carb?

Let me run through my notes real fast:

A place called Carburetor Pros ( recomended by Ron Diaz of custom cruiserfj40)

heres the adress:

2980 Almaden Expressway
San Jose, California 95125

the number is (408) 227 - 4252

they bench tested it , tuned it and everything. It ran me around 300 dollars but when i got it back and mounted i could barely hear my motor run, and the acceleration felt so smooth.

the guy who rebuilt it is the sweetest. he also looks like santa claus.
