I am finishing an engine swap in my 1970 FJ40. The original 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission ran like a sewing machine. I am ready to sell the engine and transmission. What would be a fair price?

Thanks ! I have gone with saginaw power steering.Nice looking engine bay. What power steering setup are you using?
Thanks! I have a run video but it couldn't post it. I regret not measuring the dry/wet compression numbers before removing the engine. No clue what its worth or what you can get, however you should measure and post the dry/wet compression #'s and at least the idle oil pressure and the mileage as best you can. That would mean a lot more to me than runs good.
We have a 1970 also. Were you able to keep your original steering wheel? Thanks ! I have gone with saginaw power steering.
I plan to, yes.We have a 1970 also. Were you able to keep your original steering wheel?
I hadn't thought about that, thanks. The engine before my current one was bought after hearing it run on the ground. Battery and a quart oil can of gas also sitting on the ground with the exhaust hooked up. No radiator so we didn't run it long
