Hey Merbes, I have a customer with a genuine 73 911rs fully restored,of all the porsches I have driven over the years that 73 rs is by far the most impressive, fun to drive porsche. It is too bad they are out of reach for most but a replica is not too hard to achieve, still not cheap.Nothing better than the sound of a porsche flat 6 @6700rpm!!!
Now days, you cant touch an S for less than 30k,and I have seen clean examples sell for 60k! I just stumbled on a one owner 77 911s targa with 76k miles for 2500! Been garaged its whole life, just needs to come out of a 14 year hibernation. It is actually in great shape cosmetically, just needs a little tlc! I wish people would garage an fj45 for a change!!!
2500 $ for a Porsche ,FJ's were working vehicles so no one ever thought about garaging them. Porsche's have always been babied. That is a great price for the 911, but a 77 is not the same as a 73, but you know that. But, hey only $2500.00, I would buy that one. Let me know if you don't want it. Cheers, Mark
True, think we have more Defender here in Germany than they have in Great BritainLots of 110's here in German....
