Blue fj45lpb spotted in Walton County FL?

So who owns the late model lpb I spotted in Walton county FL today? I would post a pic, but I don't have my camera cable with me. It was a beautiful blue lpb with tag RHK 270. Has a USSA and TLC sticker on the rear window. I could not believe it. Pull up to a stop at 231 headed to the beach and the wife says hey look at that cool truck. I was reading and looked up and about crapped. I have never actually seen an lpb in person and then to see one headed to the beach was even more of a shock. The truck turned left onto 98 at 231, I wanted to chase it, but the wife and kids were not into that after driving 7+ hours. The truck looked beautiful.

Hi,
first and again :)
forget all these waxes ( my experience in more than two decades)
use grease.
bring it in, when your car is painted.
you need a lance like this ( ca. 120cm)
normal_druckbecherpistole-3300-verleih.jpg

some pictures how to spray (they used and use only Mike Sander or fluidfilm MIF4

step by step
after welding spray it with rustprimer
then paint your car
then "rust protection grease"

Cheers
Peter

Fine, thats my picture and so I found this forum...

But what means, forget all theses waxes, use grease?

I sell the Gun, waxes and greases in Germany, a friend prepares customers cars in his garage. And we use both - waxes and grease. Many ways are possible, if you want a rust free car.

Mike Sanders wax is a very heavy rust protector, but it creeps only above 25° C. FLUID FILM, availabe in some viscosities, is a grease, creeping in every smallest room, the thinnest, Liquid A, removes rust, too. The Liquid AR is since years in use in shipbuilding, navy, coastguards. And I think, a product that is in use for ballast water tanks an resists salt water in this tanks up to 10 years and more, is very well for your cars, too. It works better, easier as much other stuff.

My friend works most time with this stuff and we don't know any unsatisfied customer. This means both - the Mike Sanders wax and the FLUID FILM Grease - rust goes and the costumer comes back - with his next car.

Greetings

Thanks for the advice. So it sounds like the waxes can be used during metal repair and then use the Mike Sanders after paint work is completed?

Hi Carlo,
Mike Sanders is not a wax it`s a grease, you know all these test which were made over the years in Germany.
The test winner always was Mike Sander grease see: Homepage
What I wrote was use Mike Sanders grease or fluidfilm ;)

Dang you guys take rust prevention seriously!!!
Scoping the frame!
Korrosionsschutz-Depot: Fahrzeuginspektion
I really like the idea of injecting this stuff into body cavitys, and frame rails!
After paint is the produt thin enough that it will seep through the tack welded seams? And not mess up the paint job?

read my posts here in this thread about Mike Sanders Grease and Fluid Film
both products don`t mess up your paint job !!!!
Fluid Film is easy to spray and thin enough to seep through your seams.
Mike Sanders Grease is also thin enough when heated, it´s the better product (long term ) but not so easy to spray, you must heat it !!!

Hey Guys, I did not want you to think I have given up, but my back surgery has not given me the pain relief I had hoped so I am not back at it yet. We are still pecking away, just slowly. My mechanic has been doing some metal work himself and we now have both rockers near 100% solid new metal. So we are getting closer to the point of installing the floor pan. I have been waiting for the rear quarters from Ehsan, but not sure the wait was worth it based on what I have seen and read. I am also getting a sill from Charles. Once I have those we will begin the rear section. Sorry no pics, but there has not been anything worth posting.

Do not jump into it too fast. There is a guy here who had back surgery a year or more ago and tried to get back into it too fast and it set him back 6 months or more. He's easing himself back into it but is much more careful now. Give it plenty of time and follow doctors orders. A truck, even an FJ45LV is not worth a lifetime of back pain.

Update. Spent my first night in the shop in over 5 months since back surgery. Got about 4 hours in. Man did I have a good time. Took a little while to get back into the grove but sure did have fun. My mechanic is also back 100% now after having surgery to remove some cancer they found in his Colan. He got a 100% clean sign off from his doc so that is great news. Hopefully we will see a little bit of progress on the old LV.

Thats great news - for you, your mechanic, the LV and us
