if you are going stock I don't think your wheels were grey they would have been black. I am using the chasis black from eastwood for my frame it is a close enought match and the paint is designed specifically for the frame.
otherwise do a search for paint codes there are plenty of threads on the subject or check out treeroots site he has stuff listed there as well

I have seen the colors posted on Treeroots site, but I did not see anything mentioned about the grey for the wheels, just body colors? I like the grey vs. the black personally for wheels. I was hoping to get a PPG color code for both the grey and a basic chassis black vs. having to buy it from someone like Eastwood bc they will have a pretty good markup on their paint vs. going to the local paint store.

Mark,

Sorry to hear about your back situation. I hope the docs can kick you back into gear and get you rolling down the road normal again. You obviously have a strong drive and a positive mental attitude, which I am sure, will help you through this tough time.

Wow, nice booth you have under construction there. I've not been keeping up with mud lately because December and January are just crazy for me. Even with back troubles, it looks like you are making more progress than I am. Keep up the good work.

Marvin

Does anyone have any info on Ehsan and if he has made any LV body parts? I saw an older post with these pics of LV ribbing he was fabricating.

all tool kits in that era were ...canvas...he mav have had it in the rig....but not original to that year cruiser....the radio is of 60's vintage but not an oem teq...look at the back of the radio for a logo.

he indicated that he was the original owner and pulled it out when he sloe the rig. he also said he pulled the am radio in order to upgrade.

if the radio is infact a toyota it will have a teq stamp on it or a sticker ...does it have any markings? mayhave been a dealer upgrade....

the tool kit...i have only seen canvas bags pre 70's...i would be very supprised to see a vinyl/coated bag...the guy who sold you these is he a mudder?

don't think he was a mudder :frown: but he said he pulled them out of his 66 FJ45 pu many years ago and they have been in his closet ever since. at least that is the story he told me.
