Holy flashbacks Brian. @DHONDAGOD built a tank for that for his rockcrawler twenty years ago!

Once of the cool extra little features Chris did was to create a trough in the middle of the underside that was about six inches wide and two inches deep. He put the pickup for his fuel pump in so that it sat in the trough. It greatly improved the odds that however Off camber the climb was, his fuel system would never starve in the middle of a technical ascent. 😉

Ha. I did the same thing. I guess good design is good design. I also created a "one way" baffle sump so that the sump always has fuel trapped in it for the off camber issues.
